Our client is a technology company that offers a SaaS solution to Retail and Wholesale Employee Benefits Brokers & Insurance Carriers. Their business model consists of two revenue streams: subscription and usage revenue from Benefits Brokers, as well as a percentage of employee benefits premiums from Insurance Carriers. The ideal candidate comes from a General Insurance Agency or Retail Insurance Agency and actively manages carrier relationships.

This tech SaaS Sales Leader is responsible for prospecting and negotiation new HealthCare Insurance portal customers and meeting with current customers to Broker Insurance products nationally. They will help in the identification and appointment of new independent broker / dealer affiliations, while supporting the presentations, closings, and management of relationships.


Individual and Group Sales

  • Including personal and team production
  • Strategically build and manage Carrier relationships.
  • Generate new customers and sales through field prospecting, referrals, leads, target marketing, direct contact, and current combined policyholders.
  • Build strong connections, secure agreements, and ensure that promised value propositions are delivered.
  • Build best practices for Sale Operations

Sales Presentations

  • consistent with new Customer Needs and Assessment approach
  • Knowledge of Company Platform and Health Insurance products.
  • Efficiently present Company sales materials.
  • Effectively demonstrate the Company’s Sales Process.

Agent Field Training:

  • Build and train a small team Account Executives Sales and help them close business.
  • Support each AE to develop a solid understanding and foundation of the sales process.
  • Support AE in assignment planning/appointment setting, as needed.
  • Mentor and coach established AE’s by conducting field training or accompanying them during Sales visits as needed.
  • Properly document leads and process in the pipeline.

  • Execute the Sales System: Executing Ability to meet or exceed assigned Sales goals consistently.
  • Goal Setting: Demonstrate personal initiative and goal oriented.
  • Obtaining Health Insurance credentials that the company deems necessary.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Insurance industry experience considered favorably.
