PEO Business Development Manager

Our Professional Employer Organization (PEO) client is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager who will report to the Director of Sales. This company specializes in combining innovative technology solutions with a slate of HR services to simplify operations for small to medium sized businesses. They have been named “One of the Fastest Growing Privately Held Firms in America” almost a dozen times, including in 2023. 


They are hiring in Texas, Nashville, or Atlanta. 


This individual will be responsible for building, identifying, and developing insurance agents, broker, and benefit consultant sales channel relationships. 

  • Develop relationships through networking, referrals, cold calling, and support organizations.
  • Guide prospects through stages of sales process: on site meetings, request for proposal data gathering, benefits comparison, proposal presentation, and onboarding 
  • Ongoing relationship management of accounts and retention
  • Represents company at various industry conferences and events
  • Remains current on PEO industry changes and competition


    Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • PEO industry experience is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of at least five (5) years in an executive level Sales and/or Sales management experience
  • Experience in presenting and selling a service or service-oriented product
  • Experience in selling to Senior Executives or final decision maker.
  • Cold calling/prospecting over the phone and/or in person.
