Our client was an American consulting firm that operates multiple practice areas, including Employee Health & Benefits. They needed a Southern based Practice Leader to handle engagements for their Fortune 1000 clients. This role needed an individual with the perfect balance of consulting, operations, relationship management, and sales. Talent Partners was engaged because the client knew the area and already reached out to qualified candidates, exhausting their resources.
The shortlist was comprised of four relocation candidates and one local candidate from a direct competitor. The local candidate was hired, saving the client from a relocation fee. This candidate immediately began proving themselves and helped build the region and capitalize on existing engagements. They were promoted several times and are now responsible for a multi-billion region.
